And Taurus Season! and Eclipse Season! … and Mercury Retrograde?

It’s also my birthday! All the things! Oof. There seems to be a lot going on these days and it’s hard to keep up. I’m not gonna lie, I’m having trouble keeping track of time lately. Not just minutes or hours, but days and weeks and months. To be honest, the past 3 years have been a blur. I blame my routine. At the start of the pandemic, I settled into a pretty monotonous schedule of meditation and tarot readings.

My days would all go something like this:

Wake at dawn. Tend to my plants. Walk to the park. Meditate and do yoga with the sunrise. Return home. Tarot readings. Afternoon meditation. Tarot readings. Dinner. Tarot readings. Walk into the sunset. Return home. Rest.

Repeat ad infinitum.

It may sound tedious to anyone who isn’t a monk, but it was thrilling for me. Pure magic. The solitude allowed me to cultivate a powerful psychic/channeling practice, and then I could travel to any place and any time with my mind. I turned toward the inner dimensions while simultaneously reaching across the universe. Every meditation, tarot reading and channeling I performed was like a thread connecting me to far off corners of existence.

I wasn’t isolated, I was free to roam the Universe.

And it feels like I have been floating in outer space for centuries — or was it minutes? Either way, it’s time return to Earth now and I’m having a hard time transitioning back into the world. It’s weird to be in my body again. My skin, bones, and muscles feel unfamiliar and I am re-learning how they all fit together. Gravity is heavy and time moves strangely. Honestly, I have completely lost my grip on the temporal dimension.*

*Ps. I’m sorry if you’re waiting for me somewhere

But do I know it was my birthday last week.

So, I can tell that at least another year has gone by. I’m not certain what I am supposed to feel or how I am supposed to beanymore*.* My old things don’t seem to fit. When I look in the mirror, I have this vague feeling of deja vu. It’s like I don’t recognize the reflection, yet it still feels familiar. It feels right. The memory of what was before is fading. Now, I have this new body, new face, and new world to explore.

I don’t who I am, but I’m ready to find out.

It’s a Full Moon in Scorpio and the Lunar Eclipse is beginning as I write this. It’s a powerful time to let go and take a dive deep into the unknown. So, join me as we release the last remnants of our Past Selves and be born again with the Moon.
